B. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM

The counselee is a young girl who is very quiet, the school counselee at SMPN 2 class
IX. In social life, the counselee is often teased and mistreated by his friends and he is unable
to resist.

C. PROBLEM ANALYSIS

From the results of the interview between the counselor and the client, the counselor can
analyze the problems experienced by the client, namely the client experiences social
conditions, the counselee finds it difficult to defend himself when teased by his friends.

D. PLAN OF SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED

From the results of the interview between the counselor and the counselee, the service
plan that the counselor will provide to help the counselee alleviate the problems he is
experiencing is with Individual Counseling Services.

2. Service Process

a) Early stage

In initiating the initial relationship between counselor and client, the counselor tries to
bring the client to feel safe and comfortable. In this initial relationship, the counselor and
client have the same understanding and perception in achieving the goal of implementing the
counseling process between counselor and client so that later the counselee can alleviate the
problems he is facing independently.
b) work stage

After the success of this delivery stage and the establishment of the initial relationship
between counselor and counselee in the implementation of counseling, it is indicated that the
client has the same perception as the counselor in carrying out counseling. Furthermore, the
counselor explores the problems experienced by the client. From the exploration of the
problems experienced by clients, the information obtained by the counselor is that the client
has a problem with one of his friends at school, the problem is that Dewi cannot defend or
fight when she is teased or harassed. The counselee is afraid when he wants to fight back.

c) the interpretive stage

From the results of exploring the problems experienced by the client, the counselor can
interpret that:

- The counselee experiences bullying

- The counselee is not able to defend himself / is not able to be assertive

d) Development Stage

After success in this assessment stage and information is obtained, the next stage is
carried out the coaching stage. In this stage of coaching, the counselor's efforts to help clients
make decisions to alleviate the problems they experience is by providing assertiveness
training to the counselee so that the counselee is able to be assertive and face his friends.

In alleviating this problem, the counselor also provides understanding and motivation in the
counselee's social life, so that the counselee is confident and confident in implementing
assertive attitudes in social life that will be done to alleviate problems experienced seriously
so that they are able to live their life properly.

FOLLOW-UP

To find out the development of the services provided to the counselee, it is necessary to
follow up, to find out the progress of the client's problem and determine the follow-up to be
given whether the counseling will be stopped, continued with other counseling services or
transferred
