ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Very first we are thank full to Almighty God who has given us opportunity of accomplishing this
project.
We take this opportunity to express our deep sense of gratitude and respect towards our
faculty, Mr. Farhan Aziz , Associate professor, Department of Electronics & Communication
Engineering. We are very much indebted for the generosity, expertise, and guidance we have
received from them while working on this project and throughout our studies, without their
support and timely guidance, the completion of this project would have seemed a farfetched
dream.
We are grate full to our respected HoD. Mr. Vishal Lal Goswami, and all the staff of the
department of Electronics & Communication Engineering for their regular encouragement and
all those who helped us directly or indirectly in our endeavours.

ABSTRACT
The rapidly advancing mobile communication technology and the decrease in costs make it
possible to incorporate mobile technology into home .The project report on “GSM BASED
DEVICE CONTROL” gives an elaborate view and understanding of the project design and
functioning.
The report is divided into parts for explaining the step by step development of the project. The
first part introduces the idea behind the project and the underlying information of the
technologies used. Next chapter is dedicated for information on the equipments used and how
they were accommodated in the project circuitry. The working of the project with the
programming code are explained after that. Lastly, the merits, de-merits and future prospects of
the project are given.
