Science provides facts and evidence to help politicians create effective policies. It shapes society through discoveries that guide governments on which policies to implement. Science also enables development, a primary goal of governments. For example, recent climate change findings help politicians regulate carbon emissions, deforestation, and fossil fuel consumption to mitigate climate change. I think science literacy among the public has contributed significantly to economic growth given today's society. People with scientific knowledge have made many valuable contributions. While society faces challenges, scientific knowledge has risen to make positive economic and social changes. Those with scientific expertise should also support others to ensure their knowledge benefits those in need. Modern life relies heavily on applying science.

How can science influence government policies?

Science provides facts and evidences that help politicians in making government policies Apparently,
Science is what shapes the society through various discoveries enabling the government to have an idea
of what policies should be implemented. Moreover, Science also provide the foundation in development
which is among the primary goals of a government, For example, the recent findings about the effects of
climate change is what helps the politicians or the government about the rules, laws and regulations
that can control, for an example, carbon emissions, deforestation and consumption of fossil fuel that
can contribute to climate change and global warming.

Consider the state of the country today, do you think science literacy among people has contributed
to the growth of our economy?

I think that science literacy among people has contributed a lot to the growth and progress of our
economy considering the state of our Society these days, People who have knowledge in science literacy
indeed has contributed a lot of things for the betterment of society. Even though we have an unstable
Society, these "knowledge" has made its way to the top. In fact, it has contributed a lot of change for the
economy, People who have the heart in science literacy must also have the heart in helping others so
that their knowledge would also benefit those who are in dire need of support and help. Everything and
anything these days are answerable by science and I think it would be great and easy to practice more of
it,
