The Code of Kalantiaw, La Loba Negra, Tazada Tribal, wherein Elizalde runaway
with a lot of money and up until now the money was still uncountable. Also, the
medallion and awards of Marcos for being war hero on fighting Japanese during
World War 2. It also tells that the Filipino people were booed for several years because of it. The
Historians, Teodoro Agoncillo, William Henry Scott and Father John Shumaker are
the ones who seriously questioned the validity of it. The historians said that it was
a hoax because there are no proofs or evidences that it was really given to Marcos
during that time and the validity is suspicious since the information and details
are lacking. The historical criticism they’ve used for it was internal and external
criticism to uncover the hoaxes.
3.What lesson did this documentary impart specially in relation with the spread
of fake news?
Hoax and lies was intentionally created to cover what is really the truth. Let us be
more aware around us, always do fact checking that people did not do during the
Marcos. We should never spread information without any evidence that
something happened or really happened. Once a fake news spread it might
changed one's and everyone’s beliefs.
