Introduction About Our School
Blessed Mabuba is a private and Christian religious School operating under the auspices of the Seventh-Day
Adventist Church. The school is fully registered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training to offer both
Pre Primary and Primary School education levels. The registration number for Pre-Primary school is
DO.01/7/EA.027 and that of Primary School is DO.01/7/027.
The school is located at Ihumwa Area on plot number 3, Block A, (closely bordering St. Peter Clever School on its
South East side). It is about 18 Kilometers from Dodoma Town Center accessed through the Dual Carriage Highway
connecting from Dar es Salaam Highway to UDOM Via Iyumbu.
Admission Guidelines for Pre-School and Primary School
1. The school will be opened on 8th of January 2018 and studies will officially commence the same day.
Parents are urged to observe the school opening date as delays without sound reasons will not be welcomed.
A delay of three school days after opening without any information will render the school to offer
admission to other students on the waiting list.
2. The opening day MUST be observed. If a pupil will not report on that day without any prior information to
school, a parent will pay a penalty of TZS 30,000. Please advised that this is very strict.
3. All relevant school payments are to be paid in any of the three School Bank Accounts detailed below.

You will present the bank slip to school to get a receipt of the payments made.
4. The school will operate in two terms with a mid-term break in between as per the Tanzanian’s Ministry of
Education and Vocational Training’s guidelines. Class 4, 5 and 6 will be asked to come for holiday classes as
need arises and with agreed terms.
5. All pupils are supposed to be in school at exactly 7:45 AM and they will leave the school at 4:00 PM. All
parents are expected to pick their children the latest by 4:15 PM. Late picking of pupils later than that,
the parent will have to pay a penalty of TZS 5,000 per day as compensation of time for the teacher
staying with the pupil.
6. All pupils will have to look smart when in school. Decorations such as earrings, necklaces, head decorations
and any others of the same category will not be allowed. All girls have to be in good-looking-low-cut hairs.
7. Parents are reminded to ensure their children are smart. Parents with pupils having torn or dirty school
uniforms will be issued with a letter informing for replacement of school uniforms and take care of issues
related to general cleanliness.
8. All students will have porridge in school at 10:00 AM and lunch at 1:00 PM. Parents are requested to give
breakfast to pupils before coming to school so they become stronger up to porridge time.
9. Pre-School pupils that will be in Baby’s Class will have a one-hour bedtime (a nap) after lunch then they will
continue with creative classes before departing home in evening.

10. Parents are supposed to hand over the pupil to the teacher for those who will not be using school
transport. It is requested a parent informs the school when there is a change of a person who picks up the
pupil from school.
11. The parent is requested to be checking the diary and respond to teacher’s comments on daily basis, and in
cases where the parent has anything to communicate to the teachers, the diary will serve the purpose.
12. Every new pupil is requested to come with two passport size photos and a copy of birth certificate for
proper school records.
13. Every Pre-School Pupil (Baby and Nursery One Class) should come with an extra clothes to be used in case
of any emergency.
14. The annual school fees and transport cost will be TZS 1,300,000 and 1,450,000/= Pre School and Primary
School respectively. All school fees may be paid at once in full or up to a maximum of four instalments, one
per each quarter as elaborated below.

Please note that payments are done on the opening day or before of each term and that the school fees
include costs for lunch and porridge that is provided in school. The bus stations will be determined after
registering all pupils using school transport and the School Management reserves the right to change the
stations at any time to suit other pupils for easy collection of the same.
15. All pupils who will not pay school fees on the opening day will not be allowed to attend classes the
next day; and they will only be given three days while off school to settle their dues. The same
treatment will apply to pupils with outstanding balances such as transport etc. Failure to adhere to
this, will lead to discontinuation.

Note: White Socks and School Bag will be provided by parents. The initial number of exercise books will be as
shown in the table above. Parents will have to pay TZS 1,000 for each addition book that will be filled-up.
17. Important: To be assured of an admission in our school, we request all interested parents to make
payments for the initial costs listed in the table above as soon as possible. The school will apply the “first
come first served principle” and when the classes are full, admission of pupils in the relevant class will stop.
18. The deadline for submitting the application form will be 15th December 2017. The submission will be
attached with the bank pay slip for initial costs shown in this form. Payments are to be made in the school
bank account. Failure to meet the deadline will leave room for other applicants to be admitted instead. Also
note that these payments guarantees Pre-School Admission to our school as we don’t conduct interviews
for this level.
19. All Primary School pupils joining from other schools will have to undergo an interview before making initial
payments in the table above. Pupils that will pass the exam are the only ones that will be allowed to make
the above payments and the school fees. They will however have to pay an interview fee of TZS 10,000
prior sitting for an interview.
20. Parent meetings are crucial and every parent is urged to attend meetings when they are called. A
parent not attending the meeting without prior information will pay a penalty of TZS 30,000.
