Activity 1,Module 1

My expectation to this course is that I will have better understanding on the foundation of Social Work,
and learn the functions and purposes of different social groups. From my instructor, is that they could
help us appreciate learning through modules.

Activity 1, Module 2

No. I never been an active member of a social group outside my family, but I am interested at social
group work as a medium for change, because I wanted to develop my self-confidence so that I could
build relationship with others.

My expectation from this course Social Welfare Project / Program Development and
Management is that we will be familiar of the concepts, perspectives, processes and tools for effective
development and management of social welfare projects.

From my instructor, is that she will be able to carry it through in a simple way so that we can
understand the module.

Activity 1 Module 2

Self-Management is essential to the Social Work Profession

Yes this is essential because a social worker practice its profession in a well-timed manner. They will not
become effective if they cannot manage their time. Handling people is not an easy task. Top become
effective in this profession, self-management is essential. How can you manage other people if you
cannot manage yourself?

Activity 2, Module 2

In managing out-of-school youths, I will use adaptive approach. It caters to focus on adopting
quickly to changing the scope and project reality. Dealing with youth, there is a need to innovative in
order to deal with their interests.
