Village Electrification Policy

Village / settlement for electrification is described as
consisting of minimum 10 compact Houses. A
2 Khushhal Pakistan Programme-II (P.M.D) - -
Cluster of 10 Houses within radius of 400 ft. may be
considered as 10 compact Houses.
3 D.O.P (Village Electrification) - -

2-K.M 50 Persons i) Villages / Settlements having a population of 50


and above must also fulfill the condition of minimum
10 compact houses within a radius of 400 feet.
4 Khushhal Pakistan Programme ii) As clarified by P&D Department, Govt: of Punjab's
letter No. P&D/DP/40/03 dated 20-1-2007, villages /
(Districts)
3-K.M 100 Persons settlements thoses are part of village mentioned in
the 1998 Census Book / Revenue Record and meet
5 Khushhal Pakistan Programme (MPA's) the population & distance from 11 KV Line Criteria
are elegible for rural electrifcation schemes,
received vide CE(RE) Lahore No. 541-43 dated 13-2-
