FIRST QUARTER MODULE 1
WELCOME! By using ISIDRAN LEARNING from HOME PROGRAM MODULE (ILHPM)
you have taken an important step towards the continuity of your holistic formation through MODULAR
DISTANCE LEARNING(MDL) during this extraordinarily challenging school year brought about by
the unprecedented COVID 19 pandemic crises. “Education must continue to give hope and stability,
contribute to the normalization of activities in the country, facilitate development of our learners and
bring normalcy to their lives, but health and safety of learners and school personnel are of utmost
importance and must be protected at all time.” (DepEd Order No. 7, s.2020)
This ILHPM module contains the replicas of the subject matter, resources, and instructional
materials used in online learning. Downloaded videos, interactive materials, web pages, apps with
offline versions are saved in a USB flash drive for your offline viewing.
The module is designed utilizing H.E.A.R.T. Pedagogy systematically structured following the
five components, namely: Hook, Engage, Activity, Reflection, Transfer.
The Three C’s of Religion is given focus throughout the lessons; CREED/aral, CODE/asal,
CULT/dasal. Creed encompasses everything we think or believe, when we undertake the program of a
particular religion. Code stands generally for the behavioural requirements that the program of our
religion lays upon us, but specifically for the moral aspects of those requirements. Cult stands for all
the liturgical practices our religious program calls for.
The lesson development may not necessarily be in that chronological sequence, but all of these
five components and 3 C’s are present within the unit.

WELCOME To Christian Living grade 4 class. I am glad to have you as my learner this
AY 2020-2021.
The first lesson in Christian Living 4 introduces you to THE GREAT STORY OF CREATION.
You will discover how God loves us by making Himself a Divine Creator. He made everything
that exists on earth and most of all He created us as His special creation. He wants us to take care of
His creation and take care of each other. Therefore God’s loving presence is in us which we call
GRACE. Grace helps us see the goodness in God’s creation just as God saw them. When we do good
to one another, we show grace. Let us journey together as we recall the story of Creation
(Focus Question) Is everything that God created good ?

LESSON 1: GOD’S GRACE
HOOK
Say the prayer to the Holy Spirit before you begin your lesson.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful. And kindle in them the fire of
your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you will renew the
face of the earth.
Lord, by the light of the Holy Spirit you have taught the hearts of your faithful.
In the same Spirit help us to relish what is right and always rejoice in your
consolation. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
