Description
When the OTP reach functionality is enabled, it is only necessary to calibrate the reach home position when the
truck is started after the power has been lost, not every time the truck is started.
Added error code 1:412.
Changed the min value of parameter 1271 (free lift height ref.) to 100mm.
Acceleration limited with regard to lift height (req. height measurement).
New inhibit -> if forks below free lift max height – 2 m and mast is split. Drive speed is limited (6km/h) + mast
split symbol is shown
New error (4:195) that is set if the mast is split when the forks are more than 2 meters below the free lift height.
New parameter (514), used to set CID truck configuration – enable ergo screen.
Fix of service time parameter (101) to reset the service time.
New error (4:194), "mast near lower position" signal is not detected even though the mast split sensors indicates
that the mast is in the lower position.
Implemented a function that attempts to calculate the hysteresis behaviour of the free and main lower valves.
This gives more predictable lowering speeds.
Implemented lower height limitation (parameters 367/368).
Removed the calibration parameters (1269/1270) for the end point of the free and main lower valves. Improved
control of the lowering speed.
Added "Limitations due to special digital input" (parameters 361-366)
Changed the conditions for calibrating the reach home position. The condition that the torque current has to be
over 90% of max is removed. Instead, the joystick has to be pulled to its max position. The special case for
emergency mode is no longer needed and is removed.
Changed error 3:080 and 3:081 to be "don't log", same as old RR
Added lift height limitation due to driver profile (parameter 398/399).
Immobilized truck (2:507) redone to be similar to Everest (2.5km/h).
Added supervision of the brake pedal at start up -> new inhibit symbol.
New calibration of reach home position offset (parameter 1280).
Changed mast split inhibit to always be on trucks without height measurement and created an optional OTP
mast split for trucks with height measurement (parameter 1118).
New error code (4:190) that is set if an invalid signal change for the free lift reference sensor is detected.
An incorrect weight is shown as ---- even when calibrating. An incorrect weight can be for example if
calibrating free lift weight but the forks are in main lift area. Normally the value 0xFFFF denotes incorrect
weight but this is a valid value when calibrating (negative values are shown in CID).
Decreased tolerance of the height sensors errors (4:181/4:183) to +/- 10 mm. Kept tolerance for error
4:181/4:183, +/- 30 mm.
Fixed bug with turning indicator (1 = right indicator and 7 = left).
The cabin tilt service logon option is now optional - new parameter (514).
The endpoint value in the valve calibration screen is hidden for valves that do not use the value.
In the parameter screen, the factory icon and arrows are shown only if logged off or the current parameter is a
calibration parameter. Otherwise, the selection can not be moved from the parameter number box.
Added lower height inhibit symbol.
When an inhibit popup ID is sent to the LID in HPS mode, the HPS shelf symbol is now hidden only if an
inhibit symbol is actually displayed. It is not hidden for IDs that are not shown on the LID.
Added support for inhibit symbols in the LID.
Fixed bug: Ignore seat switch in emergency mode.
Updated BPC values on B-platform. (To fix problem with some machines that couldn’t lift rated capacity over
free lift)
Bugfix. The Automatic fork tilt and sideshift zero positioning now masks away the bit representing Q14 in the
aux bitmak parameters when it checks if sideshift or fork tilt is enabled.
When driving, the reach speed is limited and the ramping towards the reach end points starts earlier. This
reduces the problem with the reach moving uncontrollably when reaching and braking at the same time.
Bugfix: The main lift valve was not closed in the third step of the pressure release sequence.
Refactoring of service/calibration mode. The hydraulic limitations that are set by error functions are now applied
in all modes.
The low speed (snail) inhibit symbol is shown when the drive speed is limited due to an input and the drive
speed is within 0.5km/h from the limit.
Added a new error that is set when a joystick calibration value is outside limits. 4:201
Added error ERR_HPS_CONFIG (used when HPS enabled but not height measurement). 2:104
Added error ERR_LOWER_LIMIT_SIDESHIFT (Lower limit sideshift override is activated but zero
positioning is not available) 2:107
Added error codes for critical major, major and minor version for the CID. 1:508,1:509,1:004
Added an error code for simultaneous power fail on both steer encoders. 5:384
Prepared for GFU, but this is not available yet. Added parameters 551,552,553,554,555 and 1119 (possible to
set but not used). Added error codes 7:010,7:412,7:510, 7:430-436, 7:001,7:500,7:501,7:520
Goldwing (uses by MCU)
Fixed bug, test stack size had wrong size of stack (could cause 2:007)
Bug fix: Changed direction of reference run (EPS) when the larger steer servo is used (since it steers in opposite
direction, which caused the travel direction to be faulty). Note, that this cause 5:580 occasionally for the
moment with EPS SW 239470-003 since the complete flag sometimes is missing
Updated voltage limits. This to reduce error code 2:537 for RRE (Ug had a to tight low limit).
Increased the brake length and creep distance for the max height limitation so that the forks hit the mechanical
end softer
When there is a LID or GFU critical major version mismatch, a system parameter value is stored before a logoff
is forced. When the CID module is initialized, the system parameter is checked. If it is set, a wakeup message is
sent to tell the CID to show a symbol indicating the mismatch.
Added supervision of high battery voltage. Because the MCU HW can not measure voltages above 60V, the
battery high limit is set to 59.5V. 2:421
The error ERR_HPS_STOP_HEIGHT is set when the lift/lower fails to stop at a limit within the allowed
tolerance for HPS. 2:102 (also height lift/lower limitation)
The CID now shows a package symbol on the login screen when a wake up request message is received telling
the CID there is a critical major version mismatch between the MCU and some other node.
Increased minor version
Refactoring
Fixed bug: 2:421 – increased allowed time to be above limit. Limit is 59.5V although MCU can handle 72 V
due to HW limitation.
Bug fix of parameter 342. Moved 341-343 (LiftSpeed, LowerSpeed and ReachSpeed) from hydraul to otp. The
change in percent (0-100%) are now affecting the commanded speed and not the max flow.
Renum. and changed error action on 5:337 to 5:185 and 5:580 to 5:186.
Added 2:582, key contactor mismatch (between MCU and CID input)
Added parameters 360 (Disable selected hydraulic functionality due to input).
AUX functions is now allowed while lowering in multi function mode
Implemented GFU diagnostic screen (not possible to use yet since GFU part in code is disabled)
Goldwing (uses by MCU)
Minor changes to support above described new functionality.
Added GFU diagnostic screen
Error list does not allow marker past the last item
Added fork/cabin speed to diagnostic screen 15
Travel direction in pedal function changed. Software looks at the positive flank so 360 degree steering
works. If the parameter is set to travel direction in pedal the direction switch on CID can not be used.
If two different signals come at the same time, the truck will autobrake until a correct signal comes.
Added check if steer reference signal and travel direction arrow matches. New error code 5:181
Parameter for service interval (101) step size change to 1 instead of 100.
Error code 4:195 changed to 1.5m below max freelift height or 0.6m from ground to cover short
masts. Error code generates reduce lift/lower speed, 4km/h travel speed and it can heal.
Parameter 1118 is replaced by standard parameter 214.
Travel speed on mainlift area generates 4km/h thru parameter 214. Default 1 from factory. Value 0 on
parameter generates 8km/h travel speed on mainlift.
Safety switch to allow lowering ergo. If ergo is enabled lowering forks are inhibit if no safety switch
signal. Lowering of ergo when press and hold the option button will also inhibit function if no safety
switch signal.
NOT. You have to do a new calibration of lift height when installing the new program. The scale
factor is changed for the height counter.
Adjusted supervision of steering wheel and diff between the two channels. 5:383
2 new calibration screens for height calibration. New order:
1. Free lift reference
2. Free lift pulse length
3. Free lift height
4. Main lift reference
5. Main lift pulse length
6. Main lift height
7. Reach
8. Fork tilt
Corrected timing in HPS status that forced user to press twice in some cases when selecting height.
Resets when logging off
Resets when logging off
Added 345 Lift joystick sensitive. Adjusts the in/out data on joystick.
Adjusted 371 HPS creep speed lift. Default value 7. Lift function will be able to stop movement on
target height and not above.
Improved CAN interrupt for receiving CAN messages. Problems in MCU the problem was that
messages sometimes became corrupted. This can be a solution for error code 2:004.

Impementation of T.W.I.S
Changed value from pressure sensor for 1200 kg from 3.1V to 2.6V. Adjusted speed with max load,
speed will not go lower than speed for 1200 kg if value from pressure sensor is larger than 1200 kg.
Three changes related to the battery discharge indicator (BDI) are included in this firmware update:
- A new service parameter (#30) is introduced to control BDI reset voltage. It is possible to set the
parameter in steps of 0.1V in the range 24.8V..27.0V.
- BDI is reset to 100% only if battery has been disconnected/connected.
- After charging the battery it was previously necessary to drive the truck for at least 25 seconds before
the battery capacity measurement started. With this firmware update, this is no longer needed.

• PIN code: When the ICH is replaced, all PIN codes will be set
to 0 (zero). This is effective starting with this software. This
means that PIN codes must be configured with TruckCom when
the ICH is replaced. If you are only updating the truck software
to this version, log-in using a PIN code will not be affected.
• Reactivation using a handle is no longer needed for trucks
without operator lift if the truck has been idle for 30 seconds.
Only trucks starting with serial number 6384352 need their
software only to be updated. For trucks earlier than this serial
number, there is a modification procedure
described in BSM1646, that needs to be performed together
with the software update, if this function is desired.

The new software will help in certain cases with error code 4:107.
• PIN code: When the ICH is replaced, all PIN codes will be set to 0 (zero).
This is effective starting with this software. This means that PIN codes
must be configured with TruckCom when the ICH is replaced. If you are
only updating the truck software to this version, log-in using a PIN code
will not be affected.• Improved functionality for the autopilot.
Monitoring of steering angle in auto mode since this function already
exists in CVC.
Increased filter time for ICH PDO error to prevent the error from triggering
when a new layout is downloaded.
Reduced time standing still until movement begins when changing travel
directions in auto mode.
• Modified steering for trucks with fixed side guards.
Parameter 1061 = Value ”3” added for trucks with fixed side guards.
3 new configurable parameters 1125-1127

Updated Software
• Improved load handling in the transfer area between free lift and main lift
on trucks which do not have height measurement.
• Reduced max. power output for motor and chassis fan.
• New service function in service mode in order to be able to pump oil
without opening valves during manufacture of the truck. This function
can also be used on-site if the pump has problems sucking oil after pump
replacement. The function must be selected first and then the lifting lever
must be engaged. This will cause the pump to run proportionately until
the maximum 2000 RPM is reached. This is done until the pump sucks
oil.
