What do you need to bring?
Your valid international and national passport.
Interview appointment letter downloaded from VFS website
Completed and signed Visa Application Form in original.
One photographs as per the photo specifications given on the website
Any previous passports that you still have.
Supporting documents as mentioned in the checklist provided as per the visa category that you wish to apply for.
Visa fee, service charge and charges for any additional optional services (SMS/courier) that you would like to avail
of.
Embassy has the right to ask for additional documents (other than what is listed here) at any stage while
processing a visa application. You are highly recommended to visit our website to obtain updated list of
documents required for each visa category.
What is the processing time?
Applications are decided on by Consulate/Embassy within 15 calendar days of the date of the lodging of an
application. This period may be extended up to 30 days or 60 days.
SECURITY REGULATIONS: Dear Applicants please follow the below mentioned security regulations inside the visa
centres.
1. Kindly switch off all battery operated or electronic gadgets such as cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact
discs, MP3's, floppies, laptops, or portable music players.
2. Bags such as travel bags, back packs, should not be carried inside the visa centre.
3. Please do not carry a weapon or weapon like objects or explosive material of any kind when you visit the
visa centre.
Due to security concerns, we do not permit interested parties such as friends, relatives or business contacts to
accompany visa applicants. However, hearing impaired or physically challenged applicants do have the option of
having one person accompanying them in the Centre. Please Note: There is no facility at the Visa Application
Centre to store prohibited items. Applicants are requested to make alternate arrangements to keep the same
before entering the Centre.
