Tesla Model S
Technical Description:
The Tesla Model S is one of the first electric vehicles made by Elon Musk for the Tesla brand. It is
a fully electric car with no engine and runs fully off battery power. The Model S comes in five different
colors: pearl white multi-coat, solid black, midnight sliver metallic, deep blue metallic, and red multi-
coat. The purchase price starts at $118,490 and can go all the way up to $156,490. It has a 17-inch
display screen on the dashboard to control the temperature, fans, and many more. There is also built-in
wireless charging for two devices in the front and two in the back. The Model S contains 22 different
speakers in the interior making the sound system a great experience. It comes in three different varieties
with different mileage.
The long-range model can go approximately 412 miles before needing to get charged with a top
speed of 155mph and can go 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds.
The plaid model can go approximately 390 miles before needing to get charged with a top speed
of 200mph and can go 0-60mph in 1.99 seconds.
The plaid+ model can go approximately 520 miles before needing to get charged with a top
speed of 200mph and can go 0-60mph in less than 1.99 seconds.
Non-Technical Definition:
The Tesla Model S was one of the first filly electric vehicles developed my Elon Musk in 2012.
The vehicle has no engine and only runs off electricity from the battery that is located under the car. The
Model S has come a long way from when it was first introduced and now has self-drive capabilities and
can go longer ranges before it needs to be charged again. It is a luxury vehicle and can even be
compared to a Porsche Taycan. This vehicle is not only sleek and stylish, but it is also very good for the
environment as it has no emissions coming from it and requires no gas.
