INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. Procedure for applying :


a. Candidates can apply online in the University website www.tnteu.ac.in providing all
details in the online application and the filled online application should be take
print out from the university website and forwarded to the University along with the self
attested copies of the certificates as follows:

a. Transfer Certificate b. UG Degree or Provisional c. PG Degree/Provisional


d. B.Ed Degree/Provisional e. B.Ed. Mark Statement f. Community Certificate.
g. Certificates of PWD (if applicable)

b. Candidates are permitted to update and modified their data on the online application till
the last date of submission of application.

2. Cost of Application Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD) only.

3. The application fee should be paid through online mode (Note : Kindly Make the Online
Payment by using Netbanking/RUPAY Debit Cards).

4. The Candidates who going to appear for 2 nd year B.Ed degree Examination are also eligible to
apply. However, at the time of admission, the Candidate should submit the qualifying mark
statement.

5. Entrance examination will be conducted online / offline mode.

6. Admissions to M.Ed degree programme (2 year semester pattern – Choice Based Credit
System (CBCS)) is based on the marks obtained in the Qualifying (B.Ed) examination and
Entrance examination.
7. University is not responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.

8. Total annual intake for the programme is 50 and selection is based on the Reservation
Policy prescribed by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu.

9. Print out copy of filled in online application along with necessary enclosures should be sent
directly to “ The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Gangaiamman Koil
Street, Karappakkam,Chennai-600 097” with superscription on the top of the cover as
“Application for Admission to M.Ed Programme (2 year semester pattern- (CBCS)) :
2020-21’’

10. The University reserves the right either to conduct or cancel the entrance examination
without any intimation.
11. In the case of candidates withdrawing from the programme after admission, No Refund of
Fee will be made by the University under any circumstances. In case of withdrawal after the
last date of admission, the candidate is liable to pay the entire programme fee.

12. Last date for Online Registration of Application : 25.09.2020

13. Date of Entrance Examination and interview : Date will be announced later
