1. Asking Question
Nurse : I want to ask about medicine sir , is there any additional medicine i should give to
the patient in room 203 ?
Doctor : oh yes, i want you to give this extra medicine to the patient. This medicine will help
make her condition better.
Nurse : okay sir, i will do that . May i continue my work nor sir ?
Doctor : oh sure, thank you for the nice discussion good morning.
Nurse : you’re wellcome and good morning sir.

2. Offering services
Nurse : I’ll take your lunch now, would you like ?
Patient : Yes please
Nurse : ok in a few minutes i’ll be back with your food
Patient : thank you nurse

3. Giving direction
Patient : excuse me can you help me ?
Nurse : what can I do for you
Patient : I want to go to the ward room number 404 but I can’t find it
Nurse : the ward is in the 4th floor , ma’am the room you’re looking for is the fourth room
From the elevator
Patient : alright. Thank you
Nurse : you’re well come

4. Giving opinion
Nurse : hello good morning ms.nia , how are you at this time ?
Patient : good morning nurse . Now I feel better
Nurse. : wow very good . What do you think about our service here ?
Patient : in my opinion the service here is very good. So that I feel very comfortable
Nurse : thank you ms.nia

5. Explaining
For example : explaining current activities
• Today i am very busi because many patients have contracted the covig-19

6. Describing
Doctor : how is your little patient ?
Nurse : his throat is swollen and he’s got temperatur
Doctor : are you sure he didn’t have the infection
Nurse : No. he’s just plain sick
Doctor : well looks better than yesterday, but you better be careful
Nurse : yes sir, thank you
7. Convincing
Patien : how do you think
Nurse : looks like you gained weight
Patient : you are right
Nurse : i think you should lose weight because it’s not good for health
Patient : well i will try to reduce my weight
Nurse : yes, it must be done

8. Apologizing
For example :
in a forest there lived 2 orphaned twins named safira and safria .
They live in a hut and everyday they always hunt animal to eat after a while
the two children were found by a rich merchant who hoppened to be hunting too were
taken to the merchant’s house and made his adopted children . But both refused the offor
and apologized

9. Encountagin / motivating
Nurse : good morning, are you feeling better ?
Patient : yes, my body no longer has a fever , but i still weak
Nurse : have you eaten yet ?
Patient : i’m not hungry yet
Nurse : if you want to be realy healthy , you should eat on time, so that the body remains
Healthy and does not get sick

10. Reprimanding
Doctor : Rina, can you be better at your job ? there are some patients who say that you
are impolite
Nurse : i’m sorry sir, i promise that the future will be even better

11. Complaining
Patient : nurse can you help me ?
Nurse : yes, i can what is it ?
Patient : can you find more room in this room i feel very uncomfortable
Nurse : oh yes sir , wait a minute i will immediately do it for you
Patien : thank you nurse

12. Praising
Nurse : good morning kania, today you look so cheerful, are you happy to be back home ?
Patient : good morning nurse , yes i am happy to be back home

Nurse : good morning sweet boy , do you want to eat fruit ?

14. Rejecting
Petient : nurse can i do the surgery today ? I want surgery as soon as possible
Nurse : sorry sir , you can’t because the date of your operation has been set next week
Patien : can’t it be accelerated ?
Nurse : sorry sir , stil can’t

15. Advising
Doctor : Rita , you better be more careful in the work you do and you have to be more
Focused.
Nurse : ok sir . I will be more thorough
