Job Summary: We are looking for an energetic and responsible security guard for monitor and
protect the property, which are assigned against criminal activity and damage. Also, monitor the
flow of people and activities, always on the lookout for suspicious behavior, and respond to
emergencies.
Educational requirements:
SSC/HSC or equivalent
Additional requirements:
At least 2-3 year(s) of experience
Age 25 to 45 year(s)
Both males and females can apply
The candidates who have defense experience (specially worked as
Noncommissioned officer) are highly encourage to apply.
Retired member of Army/BDR/Navy/Air force will be given preference.
Job Description
Key Tasks
Securing the protection of physical persons and private property.
Performing regular patrols around protected buildings and neighboring areas.
Performing patrols in the event that a breach of a protected area is signaled.
Monitoring buildings and neighboring areas using security camera systems.
Determining and recording the identity of individuals.
Checking people entering a building, performing regular or random personal searches
when the presence of dangerous or forbidden items is suspected.
Checking people leaving a building, performing regular or random personal searches
when theft or misappropriation is suspected.
Using speed, force, and other coercive means to detain a person, if needed.
Co-operation with the police, firefighters, and rescue team members.
Providing aid and assistance to the public.
Responsibilities
To identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of
security protocols
To maintain and enhance the working environments for staff, customers and visitors
ensuring the highest levels of safety and productivity
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in
written form, or in person.
Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or
otherwise negotiating with others.
Should be a self-motivated person and willing to work long hours when necessary
Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and
maintaining them over time.
Responsible for maintaining the duty roster of Security guards and also the Visitor
Movement Register.
Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.
Job Specification
Knowledge
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote
effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data,
property, and institutions.
Knowledge about Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures
appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things
Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures
Knowledge about making good judgment and fast decision
Proper knowledge in both verbal and written communication.
Good knowledge about technical security systems
Skills and abilities:
Frequent walking to monitor sections, which may involve climbing stairs and walking up
inclines and on uneven terrain
Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
Frequent standing may be required for 4-5 hours
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
Compensation and benefits:
Salary Range: 8,000-10,000 Taka
Benefits: Over time & lunch allowance
