System Description: Individual water purifier compatible with the Modular Lightweight Load-
carrying Equipment (MOLLE) Hydration System which will supplement/replace the iodine and chlor-floc
tablets currently used

Objective: Provides modular on-the-move hydration capability for purifying local water sources

Cost Per Unit (est): $85

Proponent: Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE)

• Complete IWTD Limited User Evaluation and P248 Light Testing

• Award a five-year IDIQ contract under SBIR Phase III to Cascade Designs and start production for
49,266 units, including 10% spares

• Submit TDP/SRP to DLA-TS to allow transition for enduring requirements

Improved Ghillie System (IGS)

System Description: The IGS will help conceal the Sniper and Scout during missions allowing
them to remain undetected within close proximity of the enemy forces. The IGS shall provide a modular,
mission tailorable and improved counter-surveillance protection capability. The IGS shall provide a reduction in
weight, improved drying time, decreased don and doff times, and an increased access to mission essential items. The
IGS shall provide an appropriate level of mitigation from flame and thermal threats, increased Soldier mobility and
agility, and increased integration with existing individual equipment or personal protective equipment. The IGS will
provide Snipers/Scouts with a tool to enhance security and situational awareness of the operating environment

System Description
• The Cobra Super SC-4 Garment is a GHILLIE base foundation garment body. It has an
adjustable and removable hood, button sleeve upgradable, tight-grid paracord placement for
foliage attachment, LD mesh fabric in camel brown color
• The Multi-Purpose Back Drape for VIPER Garment is a GHILLIE base foundation accessory for
select Viper garment models. The drape attaches to rear shoulder region of Viper garment
enabling full back coverage. The drape can also attach to brim of Viper hood for frontal
equipment cover and concealment, mesh fabric, MultiCam
