GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the week duty at surgical ward I will be able to broaden my knowledge
about the disease process of Cholecystitis with Cholelithiasis on how does it affect the
peoples health, and identify it’s pathophysiology. In addition it will give me
knowledge on how to assess the person with this disease and provide nursing
interventions.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

At the end of 8 hours nursing intervention I will be able to;

1. Gather the patients detailed information


2. Monitor vital signs
3. Monitor intake and output
4. Identify any possible complications/abnormalities
5. Perform morning care
6. Identify the disease process
7. Provide health teachings
8. Perform nursing interventions
