• Involved in control and Graphics implementation of Multiple


Project.
• Designing and handling of multiple retrofit projects like below
projects: -
• Cedar Bayou: - It is one of the challenging projects as it’s has
very old microprocessor based of Honeywell system project
which was basically everything in coded format. In this project I
was the sub lead and independently decode the entire code and
designed the same in Ovation platform within a very stipulated
time. With this system the process associated was auxiliary part
of power plant. After designing and implementation we have
done the testing as well alarm assigning which was also the
typical job due to its coding. We have received a very motivating
and attractive appreciation from front office.
• Ludington: - This was a retrofit project from Allen Bradley PLC
system to Ovation Platform. In this project the task assigned me
to design the control as per PLC file and linking with graphics. It
was basically a DAS system of BOP and Turbine area for
monitoring and alarming. After completing controls, I was
involved in the testing part. In the 2nd stage of this project we
had to shift all the datalinks points to hardware points through
RNI. For this I have made the database and submitted for review.
• Magnolia: - This is also one of retrofit project of ABB Bailey
system. In this project I have completed Conversion of Controls,
Graphics, Database, alarm Configuration from Bailey System to
Ovation platform. I was assigned to design Cooling Tower, MMF
and Switch Gear Controls parts which I completed within given
period.
• Responsible for design & Implementation of controls, process
Simulation & testing in projects like Moorland Water treatment,
WPS Fox water treatment, Merrimack, etc. retrofit projects from
Allen-Bradley system to Ovation platform were successfully
completed and submitted to front office.
• Responsible for Tie Back Simulation in Multiple Project.
• Responsible for 1st pass testing & Digital devices Simulation in
Multiple Evergreen Project (Newmont, Hunter, LRS, etc.).
• Database preparation, I/O allocation by Ovation Tools.
• Evergreen (Upgraded from lower version to latest version)
conversion of multiple projects as a lead like Acciona, Amos,
Transalta, Chugach, Tonopah, Springdale, Jack County, etc. from
Ovation 3.0.X, 3.3.1 to Ovation 3.6.
• Made database for many retrofit projects.
• Ovation Installation and commissioning at site on following
projects Site: -
• NTPC Daripalli 2* 800 MW Super Critical Power Project: - In
this project I was involved mainly CHP area and support for the
other areas. While doing commissioning of CHP area I had
supported for main plant, AHP, CCW, etc. During the
commissioning I did all the necessary changes in logic as per
requirement at site, testing of all devices, loop checking, third
party communication of Modbus and OPC connectivity. I was
involved in networking of all DCS panel, Steam blowing and in
synchronization with Grid of Unit-1. During this service I took
the power charged up of different DCS panel of Different areas
like AHP, CHP, Main Plant, etc. I did the SLC (3rd party
Communication) communication with different battery charger,
batteries and various Energy meters to our DCS. We have
established the OPC connectivity with the MAX DNA system of
turbine part with our system.
• Shakambhari Ispat and Power Project: - In this project I was
involved from the initial stage of Commissioning to pre
synchronization of turbine. I was involved from checking earth
resistance value to charged up of different DCS panel. I did the
Remote DCS panel communication through Fiber optic. We have
established the Remote communication through RNI module
which was recently launched. During the commissioning I did all
the necessary changes in logic as per requirement at site, testing
of all devices, loop checking. I was involved in networking of all
DCS panel and in Steam blowing. During this service I took the
power charged up of different DCS panel of Different areas like
AHP, CHP, Main Plant, etc.
• TATA Steel Kalinganagar Project: - In this project I was joined
in the mid of the commissioning stage and then rolling of turbine
was done in presence of mine at site. This was my 1st site as an
Emerson Engineer. During my service period I have done the SLC
communication with different relay panels and OPC connectivity
with MAX DNA system.
• Melnik Project: - In this project We went to Prague (Europe)
country for customer support at site. It was basically a Power
plant Evergreen project. In this project we were upgrade the
Ovation version from old one to the latest controller version. For
this project we were involved for the entire conversion of
software part to upgraded system. I was involved in the network
part too. This project was very challenging in terms of duration
of period. We have successfully upgraded the system and handed
over to customer. Customer were very delighted with our efforts
and appraise the same.
• Nuvoco Sonadih (NVCL) Project: - In this project I went to this
site from NTPC Daripalli to provide the support of our engineer.
Where some problems raised regarding fiber optic
communication through networking. I did the Remote DCS panel
communication through Fiber optic. We have resolved all the
concerned regarding networking. During the commissioning I
did all the necessary changes in logic and made the MMF auto
logic as per requirement at site, testing of all available devices
and loop checking. During this service I took the power charged
up of different DCS panel of Different areas. Customer was highly
satisfied with my service.

Job Responsibilities at Technisys Engineering Private Limited

• Responsible for reviewing of P&IDs, Database and loop checking.


• Responsible for Hardware designing, Software Development
(Graphics & Control), IO card selection and Preparation of
database, kick-off meeting, Commissioning.
• Responsible for Pre- FAT, FAT, SAT, Software and hardware
testing at soft floor and Site.
• Startup, Testing & Commissioning of different process plant, FO
Communication, Modbus, Profibus communication.

Major Projects Executed Under Technisys Engineering Private Ltd:

• Fire Fighting Control System at NTPC Dadri: – Responsible for


Dismantle of old Card based panel, collect all IO detail, removed
all wiring from old panel, panel installation, loop checking,
Hardware engineering and software implementation (Graphics
& Ladder Control), Testing, Erection and Commissioning of PLC
(Honeywell ML200) System. Received appreciation letter from
customer.
• Compressors and ADP’s Control at NTPC Dadri: - Hardware
(Honeywell PLC ML50) engineering and software
implementation (Ladder Control, Database & Graphics), Testing,
Erection and Commissioning.
• Malabar Cements Limited: – Basically these were 2 projects
one was Packing and the other one was Mines Area (Shut down
Project): In both of these projects I was Responsible for
dismantling of old Allen Bradley PLC (5-30) panel, designing and
wiring of PLC panel, networking, application software testing
(graphics & controls) and commissioning of PLC system
(Honeywell HC-900) & PC system at site. All these above
mentioned worked I need to complete within 4 days only for
each project. Customers were highly satisfied and awarded me
with appreciation letter.
• 0.60MTPA Beneficiation & Pellet Plant of Shree Mahavir
Ferro Alloy Private Limited: - Commissioned Honeywell DCS
Plant cruise (C300) system at site. In this project I was involved
for designing and testing of Hardware and software
implementation (Graphics, Database & Control), Testing and
Installation. In this project many devices were controlled
through Profibus communication.
• Coal Handling Plant at Vandana Vidhyut Private Limited
2*120 MW Power Plant: - Designing and implementation of
Hardware and software implementation (Graphics, Database &
Ladder Control), Testing, Commissioned ML200R Honeywell
PLC.
• 23 MLD STP Delhi Jal Board: - Hardware and software
implementation (Ladder Control & Graphics), Testing.
Installation of FO communication & Commissioning.
• Rectification of Wagon Tippler of CHP at NTPC Dadri: - It was
one of the challenging projects, due to its Hardware engineering
and software implementation (Graphics & Ladder Control),
Testing and Installation.
• 5MW Captive Power Plant for TG and BOP of Sarbottam
Cement Private Limited (Nepal): - Software implementation
(Graphics & Ladder Control) of Turbine control, Modbus
Communication & Commissioning.
• Nectar life Science Ltd. (1*6MW): – Control and Graphics
implementation of Turbine control of Honeywell Hybrid PLC
HC900 C70R controller.
