Prayer for Acquaintance Party
Lord, we humbly ask your divine presence, as we gathered here for our Acquaintance
Party.
Fill us with your peace and grace.
May you forgive us for the sins that we have made.
Lord, bless our gathering with unity, hope and vision.
May you enlighten the path that will lead us to eternal Glory.
Lunch Prayer
Let us put ourselves in the presence of the Lord as we pray.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
God, we thank you for this food, for the gifts from your bounty which we enjoy.
Lord Jesus, as we eat, help us to remember your provision and goodness.
May this lunchtime be more than food to us.
Time to share with others.
Time to remember those who hunger.
Time to dwell upon your sacrifice.
Bless this food to our use, and us to thy service. Fill our hearts with grateful praise.
These we ask in Jesus’ name, our Lord, and our Savior, Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
