Part 1: Number 2
God revealed himself in the Old Testament as he showed his self-unto Abraham’s vision, and says “Fear
not, Abraham, I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And as said in Genesis 15:1, where it
states God revealed Himself to the Jews by saying "I am, Who I am" and then supported with Exodus
13:21-22 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night
in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by
day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people. Wherein Exodus 13:21-22 was the first
departure from Egypt begins. And God then guided safely the Israelites back then.
Among God’s revelation in the Old Testaments, the story of Moses was my favorite. As Moses stretched
out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night,
and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided wherein it was written on Exodus 14:21.
Moreover, it was a story how God revealed himself as a God who will save his people, showing his
power, grace and love to his people
Part 2: Number 2
In reality, divine revelation is God's unveiling of himself, not objects, religious ideas, or even God's
commandments. God's Son, Jesus Christ, is the last revelation of God. The Catholic Church does not
assume that good deeds and the Bible will bring you into paradise on your own, nor does it believe that
faith will get you into heaven on its own. Acts of kindness and the Bible, though, when used in
accordance with religion, have merit. Many Catholics claim the Bible's writers were motivated by the
Holy Spirit to write God's word, so they embrace its validity. Jesus' life, death, resurrection, and
ascension are all revealed in the Bible. This is significant for it aids Catholics in comprehending the role
of redemption in their lives. Despite the fact that the Bible is the cornerstone of the Catholic Church,
they use rituals to enforce the full meaning of Scripture. The Sacred Tradition is a foreshadow of the
Sacred Scriptures o of what we should do in relation to what the Bible says. This two should not be
separated. And as a believer, I got my faith first through the Word of God. As first you must believe,
accept and hear the word of God because without hearing the word of God you cannot have a genuine
or true faith in God. As what Romans 10:17 says, so then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the
word of God.
