1. TOOLS REQUIRED

2mm Hexagon Wrench


Pliers (For Surgic Pro+)
(For Surgic Pro+; to attach / detach
Screw Driver (+) USB Memory Module)

In addition, a tester and Grounded Static Control Wrist Strap are needed.

Caution: Please wear Grounded Static Control Wrist Strap to prevent any damage that static-
electricity might cause on the P.C.B.

3. DISASSEMBLY & ASSEMLY PROCEDURE

3-1. Removal of the Screws


Reverse the Control Unit.
Use Screw Driver (+) to remove the 4 Binding Head Screws from the Control Unit.

3-2. Removal of the Top Case


Reverse the Control Unit to the right side.
Hold both sides of the Top Case and slightly lift the Top Case until the Connector Cord
(connecting the Display PCB and Main PCB) can be seen.

Take out the Connector Cord (connecting the Display PCB and Main PCB) from the Main PCB.

While holding the Top Case with one hand, take out the Connector Cord from the Top Case with
the other hand.

3-3. Removal of the Harness Assy for Motor Cord


Remove the Harness Assy for Motor Cord by pulling it straight up by hand.
When assembling, assemble the Harness Assy for Motor Cord to the position shown in the photo.
Push back the Harness Assy all the way in to position, since the Top Case may not be closed, if
not.

3-4. Removal of the Harness Assy for Foot Control


Remove the Harness Assy for Foot Control by pulling it straight up by hand.
When assembling, check that the Socket of the Harness Assy for Foot Control is assembled to
the direction shown in the below photo.

3-5. Removal of the USB Memory Module
Open the USB flash drive Socket by hand.
Use 2mm Hexagon Wrench to disassemble the Screw Bolt.

Use pliers to hold the Connector Cord (connecting USB Memory Module and Main PCB) at the
position shown in the photo. Pull the Connector Cord straight out from the USB Memory Module
(will need force to pull out). Be careful not to damage other parts when disassembling.

In addition, take out 3 screws and Connector Cord to detach the USB Memory Module.

Please refer to the Parts List for further information regarding the connection.

When assembling, reverse the procedure for disassembly.

4. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR TROUBLESHOOTING (Remedy for “Screen
is blank”)

4-1. Removal of the Top Case


Follow the steps written in the previous section 3-1 and 3-2 to remove Top Case.

4-2. Removal of the Connector (connecting Transformer to the Main PCB)


Please see the Parts List.
Take out the Connector “C”, attached to the Main PCB.

4-3. Remedy for “Screen is blank”


Follow the Steps 1 – 7, to determine which parts need to be replaced when “Screen is blank”.
