Sewing the parts
Personally, I find this sequence easier:
(refer to illustration page for more images)
     1. Sew mouth to head
     2. Sew body to head
     3. Sew ears to head
     4. Sew arms to body
     5. Sew legs to bottom of body
     6. Sew tail to bottom of body
     7. Sew eyes to face
     8. Sew nostrils with DMC thread
     9. Sew smile with DMC thread

Magic Loop
Coil yarn over finger (2 rounds) Pull out the coiled yarn and hold
Use hook to pull through the yarn Sc as per normal (do not count this stitch)
sc as per pattern instruction Pull the end of the yarn, and adjust
                                          till it’s tight.

Safe pin as stitch marker Sew the opening flat (legs, arms, and ears)
Use a small safety pin as stitch marker on last stitch Stitch around the opening as illustrated, DO NOT cut
                                                            short the yarn
Change Yarn Color (images taken from another doll, as HeeHee is small, these images are easier to refer,
technique is the same)
On the last stitch of cream color yarn, pull through with alternate color yarn with hook
Tie both alternate color yarn with cream color yarn, continue your work with the alternate color yarn
