Annatto OS
Description
Annatto OS is natural product extracted by solvents from the annatto seed (Bixa orellana) for applications in
oil. This product is designed to resist changes of color.
Nomenclature : natural colorant from annatto seeds.

Applications
Annatto OS is used as a yellow colorant in various oil based products. Because of its oil solubility, the
product is very well applicable in confectionery and chocolate products.
Packaging & Storage
Annatto OS is packed in 1 kg, 3 kg and 17 kg PE containers. Store in hermetically sealed, full containers
in a cool, dry place, protected from light, heat and oxygen. To avoid the loss of pigment, store as indicated.
Shelf life
The shelf life of Annatto OS is 9 months under recommended storage conditions.
