Beauty and The Beast
In the hidden heart of France lived a prince although he had everything, he could ever ask for the
prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind. One winter's night, a beautiful enchantress turned the prince into a
hideous beast and cast a spell on everyone that lived in the castle. The enchantress made it clear that the
only way to break the spell is true love's first kiss before the last petal on the rose fell. When Belle’s father
is imprisoned by a monstrous beast, Belle goes to rescue her father and finds herself prisoned and left to
break an enchanted curse upon the castle.
Belle's father, Maurice, was an inventor. One Winter's day Maurice was taking his latest invention
to the county fair. On the way to the fair Maurice was chased by wolves in the middle of the woods right
outside of huge, icy, copper gates which led to a castle. The castle was ginormous and it was snowing
over the castle in the middle of summer, with nowhere else to go Maurice then decided to enter the castle
seeking shelter from the snow. Once he entered the castle he's confronted by a monstrous beast, the beast
was furious that someone dared to enter his house. The Beast then locks Maurice away in a dungeon,
where he plans to keep Maurice and never let him go.
When Belle’s fathers horse arrived without her father Belle knew something was wrong. She took
her father’s horse into the direction he left in and found the giant castle. It was winter all around the castle

and she knew her father must have entered the castle seeking shelter. She hoped the wooden door and as
she stepped inside heard the cries of her father. She found him freezing locked away for good in a
dungeon. Belle begged the Beast for Maurice’s freedom. “Take me instead” she offered the Beast. The
Beast agreed, and made her promise to never leave the castle, there she would stay in the castle forever
with the Beast.
The Beast let her father go and he stuck her into a prisoner's room, when soon his enchantments
encouraged him to have her own room if she was going to live there forever. The Beast wanted Belle to
have dinner with him but Belle refused. She was upset she had to spend the rest of her life in a castle
alone with the Beast. As time went on Belle decided to lure out into the castle and go see more of it. Belle
soon realized that this wasn’t your ordinary castle. People thought Maurice was crazy, so when he went
back to town to tell others a Beast had his daughter nobody believed him. Gaston wanted to impress her
and try and save the princess from the Beasts’ castle.
Soon, Belle realizes there’s a herd of people outside the castle wanting to break in, the
enchantments tried to stop them. Gaston wanted to find the Beast to try and defeat him. Gaston finds the
Beast in a room, as they start fighting, they break through the doors and soon to be outside, Gaston stabs
the Beast and severely hurts him. The Beast does not back down, Gaston tragically falls off the side of the
castle, as the Beast was falling with him Belle grabs his cape and pulls him to safety. Belle finally finds
the Beast as she is crying because she realizes he is hurt and she loves him.
In conclusion, Belle realizes that the last pedal has dropped, as the beautiful enchanted woman
put the spell on the beast, if he had not found a girl who he loved and loved him back and have a true

love's first kiss, he will remain an ugly Beast for all eternity. She soon kisses him, but nothing happens.
Belle starts crying yet some more and kisses the Beast again, as they are true loves but the spell doesn’t
get reversed. He awakens and soon realizes the spell isn’t reversed but Belle loves him and he loves her.
They do spend the rest of their lives together in the castle as the Beauty and the Beast.
