In 1982, a group of Hyderabad based practicing chartered accountants started Karvy consultant’s
ltd. with a capital of rs.150000, offering, auditing and taxation services initially. Later, it forward
into the registrar and share transfer activity and subsequently into financial services. As along
Karvy strong work ethic and professional background leveraged with in technology enabled it to
deliver quality to the individual.
A decade a commitment, professional integrity and vision help Karvy achieve a leadership position
in its field when it handled the largest number of issues were handled in the history of the Indian

REGISTRAR AND INVESTOR SERVICES
1985 Karvy entered the registrar and share transfer business to create a market niche in the competitive
field of financial services. In 1994-95 it reached a mile stone when it processed 104 public issues
