Re: Virtual Middle Managers Capacity Building Project
I am seeking permission to implement a Virtual Middle Managers Capacity Building
Project within the Denham Town High School. The primary objective of this initiative is to
enable improvements in the management competencies of the institution’s middle managers.
This project is being recommended for inclusion in the school’s professional development
program and it is geared primarily towards building middle managers and teachers’ capacity
within the school. This project was formulated to improve the impact of the middle managers
within the institution and by extension, improve the institution’s image, culture and performance.
It will also serve to satisfy the practicum requirements of a program in which I am currently
enrolled at the University of Technology, Jamaica.

The instructional format of the project is predominantly of asynchronous and


synchronous delivery and it aims to expand the teacher's management and leadership abilities as
well as to provide the necessary skill set to enable efficient and effective middle managers. The
project’s objectives and components are attached for your perusal.
