Communication STD Poem

The document describes oil, or "black gold", as a valuable energy resource that has powered industrialization and transportation but also caused significant environmental pollution. It depicts oil as a force deep below the earth's surface that enabled major technological advances when discovered but that has now warmed the planet and threatened wildlife through humanity's overreliance on it as an energy source. As oil reserves are depleted, the document suggests humanity must transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy like wind and water to avoid further harm to the environment.

BLACK GOLD

Down it goes, like a giant earth worm, closer and closer to the

earth’s core, to drink of what is left of the dinosaur bones. Thick

and glamorous, dark and existent like black gold concealed

beneath the earth, waiting to bring joy and wonders. Every sip calls

man’s greed, a source of power to make him succeed. Ever since u

has been discovered, u brought end to the brutal whale slaughter.

Now roads and machines are a product of your great nature,

powering cars and factories for endless luxury. U constructed huge

birds zipping faster than sound; the Wright Brothers would wish

they were still around. A world without u is a dark one, u glow the

earth at night bright like the sun.

But why did u betray Mother Nature? U birthed plastics and

chemicals to pollute god’s great Garden of Eden. U let us aliens

used u to destroy the homes of species and now it’s sad to

announce that u have become our greatest enemy. Every second

that goes by, the ice cap melts from the heat u manifested; the

North Pole will soon be defeated. Our greed for u have blinded us,

your true nature is prosperous. It’s true, you’re blamed for our

wrong doing, but we have no other option for such energy needed.

U left us no other choice but to abandon u, the black gold will soon

be depleted. We turn to wind and water to repent our sins, its

pureness is infinite for greater things. Now ever animal can live

freely and god’s great garden will be his truly. But we will never

forget what u have done for us, you are the greats source of power,

our black golden sun.
