The Wedding Ceremony
At the Watermill Hotel we are licensed to host both a religious and civil marriage ceremony, and our
wedding co-ordinator will be delighted to discuss details of this with you. The fee for this facility is
£250.00.
Choosing Your Day
Weekends are naturally very popular and for this reason our minimum numbers for a Friday or
Saturday wedding are 70 day guests. However, other weekdays are becoming increasingly popular
and for Sunday -Thursday weddings we are happy to offer a 10% discount on our food packages for a
minimum of 60 day guests and 30 evening guests.
Once you have chosen your date you may hold this provisional booking for 14 days without
obligation.
To secure the date a deposit of £500.00 is required along with a letter of confirmation. Any bookings
not confirmed after 14 days will be released.

Accommodation
The Watermill Hotel has 49 well appointed en-suite bedrooms, some of which still retain the oak
beams as part of the hotel’s history. Special rates are available to your guests (subject to availability)
and are fully inclusive of full Scottish breakfast.
Booking Terms & Conditions
The prices are inclusive of V.A.T. at the current rate and are subject to alteration.
A provisional booking can be held for 14 days without any obligation.
A booking will only be considered confirmed upon payment of a £500.00 deposit with a letter of confirmation.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Our wedding co-ordinator will arrange a final details appointment with you 6 weeks prior to your Wedding.
A pro-forma invoice, based on your final details will be forwarded to you and is payable to the hotel 14 days
prior to your wedding.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
The following minimum numbers apply:
Friday or Saturday weddings - 70 day guests and evening catering minimum 80 guests.
Sunday - Thursday weddings - 60 day guests and evening catering minimum 70 guests.
Minimum numbers do not include children under 12 years.
Final numbers are required 14 days prior to your wedding. Should your final numbers fall below our agreed
minimum numbers, minimum numbers will be applied and charged for on your final invoice.
Any outstanding charges on your final invoice must be paid direct to the hotel on the day.
All prices are fully inclusive of VAT and are correct at the time of printing and are subject to change without
prior notification.
You will be liable for reimbursing the hotel for the cost of repairing any damage caused to the property,
contents or grounds by any of your guests.
In the unfortunate event of cancellation the following charges will apply -
Between 20 and 12 weeks before the event 40% of the total cost
Between 12 weeks and 14 days prior to the event (inclusive of both dates) 75% of the total cost
Less than 14 days prior to the date of the event 100% of the total cost
All intimations of cancellation must be made in writing to the hotel and will be effective from the actual date of
receipt by the hotel.
