To ___________________________
Welcome to our Treasures from Home project!
In class we have been looking at what 'home' means, what it means
to belong, and the things that are precious to us and represent home
and belonging.
We have talked about the objects, stories, songs, and foods that we
might take with us wherever we travel. We call these our Treasures
from Home.
We would like to learn more about these things, and would like to
invite you all to be part of this project, to share something that is
special to your family.
We have attached some questions to guide you in thinking about
what your treasure might be. We welcome all ideas and would love to
learn about the things that have meaning to you and your family!
We will continue to explore these topics, and decide how we would
like to share our treasures with each other in the classroom.
Many thanks,

Are they objects, stories, songs, or other?

Why are they precious to you? What meaning do they have to you?

Where did your treasure come from? How long have you had it?
