The high quality of WEISS spirit levels comes from the fact that the
vials and vial holders are securely and permanently integrated into
the body. This requires compensation for all manufacturing
tolerances when the vials and vial holders are fitted.

PROTECTED The patented WEISS SOLID Mounting System ensures that this is

carried out in an ideal manner.

Usual vial holders are rigid blocks that hardly fit in the box section
due to individual production tolerances. For this reason, the vial
holding system in WEISS spirit levels consists of two parts. Each of
these can be firmly anchored in the box section as required. After
fitting and adjustment of the vials and rapid fixing of all parts, the
resulting unit rests without tension and therefore permanently on
eight contact points in the body of the level.

Equalizer compounds, which might change the adjustment during

slow curing, are not necessary with WEISS.

The superiority of the WEISS SOLID Mounting System is evident

when the spirit level is subjected to knocking and blows. Even
small deformations of the aluminum box section near the vials fail
to affect the accuracy of the level.
