Grade B while the source of drinking water treated by the water treatment plant is a Grade C.
However, Bukit Tagar Sanitary landfill leachate’s parameters such as coagulants/flocculants
(FeCl3 and P-Floc775) exceeded the Malaysian regulatory standard limit of Environmental
Quality Act. [CITATION Noo12 \l 17417 ] It is recommend to achieve regulation limits of
Environmental Quality (Control of Pollution from Solid Waste Transfer Station and Landfill)
Regulations 2009 by improving the standard of water above B during further integration of
leachate treatment. Besides, Berjaya Corporation Berhad can settle their solid waste by joining
Bukit Tagar Sanitari Landfill (BTSL) with the Program Clean Development mechanisms (CDM)

and sells it to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for other further usage.
Furthermore, landfill area should set up gas detectors to monitor the level of landfill gas at
the workplace and prepares portable gas samplers to measure methane and carbon dioxide
concentrations in all voids before letting ventilation.[ CITATION Uni13 \l 2052 ] Lastly, remedial
work must be accomplish as soon as possible under permitted prior health and safety plan to
