Impacts of Global Warming
Thesis Statement: The repercussions of the global warming have been exponentially increasing
for the world and its residents. In fact, the impacts of global warming are now overlapping with
the other affairs of human activity. On one side where it is notorious for socio-economic losses,
disturbing intergenerational equity, social inequality, rumpus in political area, to name a few, are
the other menacing impacts of the global warming.
I thought I could wake you up with my cries but you sleep as if you are in a dream. I
thought I could shiver you up with my cries but you are ignorant as if you are fool. The planet
cries for its festering wounds at the hands of rumpus global warming which has emanated over
the decades. The impacts of global warming has been a part of the debate in the intellectual
circles for long, however, the world is not ready to give up rampant practices undermining the
environmental sustainability. The repercussions of the global warming have been exponentially
increasing for the world and its residents. In fact, the time has come that the impacts of global
warming are now overlapping with the other affairs of human activity. On one side where it is
notorious for socio-economic losses, disturbing intergenerational equity, social inequality,
rumpus in political area, to name a few, are the other menacing impacts of the global warming.
The world may not be unfamiliar with the definitions of global warming, which
corresponds to the annual increase in the temperature of the planet earth. Moreover, it is also in
the cognizance of the intellectuals the actual causes of the global warming and its impacts which

are in the limelight, ranging from environmental changes to economic losses. In fact, the
redemptive measures to curtail these impacts are now a part of the mainstream practices in this
regard. This is not a toothless statement. Facts also substantiate such advancements. In allusion
to the strategies designed for containing global warming, international organization and related
framework is something worth to discuss. The Kyoto Protocol is a worldwide arrangement which
expands the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) that
submits state gatherings to decrease ozone depleting substance outflows, in view of the logical
accord that (section one) an unnatural weather change is happening and (section two) almost
certainly, human-caused CO2 emanations to have overwhelmingly caused it. The Kyoto Protocol
was received in Kyoto, Japan, on 11 December 1997 and went into power on 16 February 2005.

The efforts made in a bid to contain global warming seems no less than a life-saving
activity for the planet and its environmental safety, however, intellectuals are hesitant to held
global warming accountable for unprecedented changes in the socio-cultural and political
patterns of the world community. World often ignores the fact that the global warming is way
more intimidating than the threat of terrorism. According to the United Nations Report, every 1/3

death is primarily because of the environmental change. In addition to this, considering a case of
a South Asian nation ‘Pakistan’ to vindicate the argument, it is reported that the nation has lost
about 124000 lives at the hands of climate change in comparison to the 7000 lives lost in the acts
of terrorism in the recent years. Similarly, global warming is also connected to the political
disharmony to some extent, as the resource depletion and economic losses may result in the
emergence of military supremacy, thereby undermining the democratic dispensation.
In a nutshell, the global warming has already starting casting its shadow over then
promising future of the planet. Thus, there is a dire need to address the previously ignored
aspects of the global warming so the world may not just retain inter-generational equity but also
prosper in such a way that socio-economic interests are guarded.
