Jennifer works as a chef at a research station in Antarctica. She applied for and accepted the job after passing a medical test. Food is delivered by ship at the end of January to supply the station for the winter. Jennifer finds it difficult to determine how much food to order. One year, people started trading apples with each other. Jennifer forgot to wear her glasses one day because she was busy planning a menu. She advises keeping warm inside by exercising before bed and putting clothes in the bed the night before. Jennifer misses relaxing in a hot bath.
