The Fair.
The big and wonderful fair. Every year the fair arrives at the city where Carlos
and Sara live; It is a large fair and has all kinds of amusements. A Friday, when
Carlos and Sara left school with their friends, they saw that they were already
installing the stalls, the wheel of fortune and the carousel; They were thrilled
and started making plans to go on Sunday, all together, to have fun.
However, everyone was very happy, except Ana; she was very thoughtful.
what is the problem, Ana? Sara asked her. Don't you want to go with us to the
fair? Carlos asked. Ana told them, what happens is that maybe I can not go;
My parents told me that next Sunday we are going to visit some uncles who live
a bit far from here, but I would like to go with you because that way I would
have much more fun.
Therefore, all her friends were very quiet, they were thinking about what to do
so that Ana could go with them. Suddenly, Claudia said: But there is no
problem! We ask our parents for permission to go on Saturday so we can all go
together. What a good idea! they all said at the same time.
That same day her friends asked their parents permission. Sara and Carlos's
mother said that she would also go to take care of them. When the dads of his
friends knew that she would go very calm and let them go. Undoubtedly, on
Saturday afternoon all the games were already running: the horses, the Ferris
wheel, the strollers, the train, the boat, the star and the house of scares; there
were so many, that the boys didn't know which one to get on first.
They finally decided to ride the Ferris wheel, they liked to feel something like a
hole in their stomach every time the wheel went down. Carlos yelled a lot, Ana
raised her arms, Claudia and Sara laughed and held tightly to the protection bar
of their seat. Thus, for a long time the boys went up to various games, until
Sara said: What do you think if we better go to the scare house? I am already
dizzy from so many laps we have taken. Ana and Carlos agreed, but Claudia
preferred not to enter because she was very afraid of the dark.
When leaving the scare house, Sara and Carlos’s mother bought sweets and
soft drinks for everyone. It was dark, it was time to go home. In conclusion, the
boys were happy because they had been able to go to the fair together and
enjoy a pleasant afternoon with friends.
