Hi Friend!
I’m so happy that you found this Zoo Explorers Pack from Life, Abundantly! This was
designed for your preschool through upper elementary students. In it you will find the
following:
• 3 Pages of Zoo Scavenger Hunts
• ABC Animal Scavenger Hunt
• Tell Me About It! Journaling Page
• All About the ______ Report Page
Your younger students will enjoy having a way to track (or compete!) to see who can
find the animals on their sheet the fastest. This helps your youngest learners with
animal and letter recognition, and it keeps your older students motivated to keep
exploring. Feel free to add a prize at the end if you like.
The ABC Animal Scavenger Hunt page can be used alone or in competition with your
writing students. The goal is to find at least one animal to record per letter or see how
many you can find for each letter. You are free to make up guidelines for yourself.
On the Tell Me About It! page, your younger students will enjoy drawing their
favorite animals. You can have them orally narrate or write their own description and
experiences.
On the All About the _____ report page, your older students have an opportunity to
share facts they learned about the animals they observed along with an opportunity to
sketch their observations.
With this pack in hand, your family is sure to have a fantastic and educational day at
the zoo!
