To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to apply for the pet groomer position available at the
Merced PetSmart location. I am a senior at El Capitan High School, expecting
to graduate in June 2021. I am interested in applying to this position to
demonstrate my comfortability with grooming animals and to provide excellent
customer service to all customers.

My experience includes volunteering at a zoo and caring for my own pets. At


the zoo, I used to prepare food for the animals based on their dietary needs
and maintain their living spaces. From my experience with taking care of my
dog, I learned to gently restrain her while grooming. Also, I learned how to
check for allergy symptoms on her skin by feeling and looking for lumps or
rashes. With my chameleon, I practiced hygienic tank maintenance and
became comfortable with reptile feeding habits. I am friendly and willing to
help customers with advice on caring for their pets.

I would like to schedule an interview at PetSmart when it is convenient for you.
