Fun Fly and Swap Meet


Saturday, May 15th, Time: 9 AM - 4 PM.
At Odom Fennell Field at
The Tri-Cities Model Airport.

Free Admission! Public is Welcome!


The Johnson City Radio Controllers Club (JCRC) is hosting our annual Spring Fun Fly and
Swap event. A fun-fly gives us a chance to show off our aircraft, tools, and flying skills to
other flyers and the General Public. There will be a variety of aircraft airborne throughout the
day and space available for people to swap and sell their RC wares. A limited number of Swap
Tables will be available to rent for $5.00.
There will be three flying skill events starting at 10AM:
The Flying Limbo, the Spot Landing and a Streamer Drop.
Refreshments – Hamburger, chips and a drink- will be available for a suggested $5.00 donation.
If you are interested in any aspect of aviation, whether with airplanes, helicopters, Drones or
other types, just drop in and enjoy.
Guest flyers are welcome with proof of current AMA Membership. There will be a pilot’s
Safety meeting at 9:30AM.

The J.C.R.C. is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered, non-profit club dedicated to educational and recreational use of
model aircraft.
The Johnson City Radio Controllers’ Club is located at 120 Lancaster Road, Kingsport, TN 37663.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
 From I-26 take Exit 10 - Eastern Star Road
 If Exiting from I-26E, Make a Right Turn onto Eastern Star Road, If Exiting from I-26W, Make a Left Turn onto
Eastern Star Road
 Travel on Eastern Star Road for approximately 0.7 miles, make a Right Turn onto Winchester Drive
 Travel on Winchester Drive for approximately 0.2 miles, make a Left Turn onto Lancaster Road
 Continue on Lancaster Road for approximately 0.4 miles, the entrance is on the right. Spectators are always welcome
when the gate is open.
