ACTIVITY 1
ETHICS
A. KEEPING GOOD RECORD OF ATTENDANCE
-Maintaining a good attendance record at work entails more than simply not being absent on a
regular basis. It also requires beginning your job duties on time, remaining on the job
throughout the day to complete duties correctly, and attending all scheduled meetings and
appointments.
B. USING OFFICE SUPPLIES FOR WFH SET-UP
1. First I will ask my boss’ permission if I could take home some office materials for my
WFH set up, if he allowed me I will take only what is needed for my work. Supplies are
being checked through an inventory on a regular basis. It’s not proper to hoard
materials because it is also included in the budget or finances record of the department,
and use the resources wisely.
2. In this scenario, if I finish my work ahead of time I would just call it a day and go on
home on time. I can always ask the boss if there other work concerns, if he says that I
can go home I will follow his order. Anyway, work immersion students do not have OT
pay yet so I don’t have to stay.
ACTIVITY 2
WORK ETHICS IN ME
1. Going to school on time.
2. Passing my assignments on time.
3. Attending practice and meetings as scheduled.
4. Using school equipment and premises properly.
5. Following school/work immersion policies properly.
ACTIVITY 3
MOCK INTERVIEW
1. My strength is my smart work because I always try to find out best way possible to finish my
work soon and in correct manner. I also have positive attitude because I never give up and
always learn from bad experiences. I am also punctuality because I always try to give my 100%
to finish my work on time.
My weakness is my verbal communication skill but I am working on this and I am sure that this
will become my strength soon. I can’t sleep till I complete my work properly, sometimes it affect
my health as well. My weakness is that sometimes I give more time for important work and
forget other work.
2. WHEN COLLEAGUES REJECT MY IDEAS
- Deal with it. I don't take the rejection personally. I would ask other suggestions from them
aside from my ideas. Collaboration is important; we don’t need to place everything in our hands.
3. Success, in my opinion, is determined by who you are and who you want to be. Each individual
defines success in their own way. What one person considers a small achievement can be a
major milestone for another. Someone once advised me to treat all of my achievements the
same, regardless of how minor they may seem. And always be thankful of your own and other’s
success.
4. When changes often happen:
- Modern companies are various and always changing, for innovations. Performance in this form
of setting necessitates adaptability and alertness. This involves learning how to cope with
complexity, confusion, and anticipating and planning for a changing environment. Keeping
organized to prevent confusion, concentrating on the priority, over communicating to ensure
alignment, and, perhaps most importantly, controlling the stress level are all crucial habits that
endorse this. After all, the only constant thing in this world is CHANGE.
5. GOOD IMMERSION SUPERVISOR
- Excellent communicator—the ability to communicate in a simple, concise, and positive manner
is important. Supervisors should be caring and approachable, and there should be a mutual
respect and trust between them and their employees.
