Virtual Picture Accent
Instruction: How are these pictures affect your social skills and that of your peers?
Write your answer in the space provided after the picture.

Different types of computers and communication technologies allow individuals


to communicate with one another in ways complementary to traditional face-to-
face, written modes and telephonic. But it has also a negative effect for me, because
when I’m using computer I didn’t mind the people around me specially my same age,
instead of interacting with them, my focus is on the computer.

Nowadays, social media is very popular for all us. Social media can affect
my social skills by gaining confidence and it helps me to improve my interaction in
people who are far from me. For me, social media is very helpful in developing my
social skills because I can interact with the people who has different culture from
me and I can also share my own opinion and perspective to my peers.

Radio and television affect my social skill by developing my hearing skills


and comprehension regarding on what I hear and what I saw. It informs me on what
are the happenings in my community. And this is a very big help in gaining
information and facts that will be possibly a topic on the conversation with my peers
and the people who I’m going to interact with.
Activity 2: Poem Writing: Write four (4) or more poem stanzas based in this guide questions:
