The past progressive tense

Past progressive or continuous


refers to an action that is taking
place in the past. It can also
refer to two actions happening
simultaneously in the past
Past progressive chart:

past. However, it is in

Structure of past progressive

In past
progressive, you
need:
Subject + TO
BE(past) + Verb
ING
