Proposed title for my project:  Crypto Currency Trading 
 
 
What is your inquiry question that interests you for further research? It should be a question that
connects with a purpose, passion or personalized area of interest for you. This is a question that
you cannot just google an answer for. Please see examples from your Capstone booklet.   
My inquiry question is: 
 
How can anyone easily learn how to make safe and smart investments into cryptocurrencies? 
 
 
Rationale/context: Detail your reasons for choosing this inquiry question. Explain WHY you are
choosing to investigate this topic as a major area of focus. How does this area of inquiry
connect to your passion(s), purpose? Why is it of personal interest to you? 
 
 
This topic has interested me for a very long time and I have been wanting to pursue this
curiosity. I am very passionate about the world of business and this topic may be the future of all
business. I have no prior knowledge of crypto currency trading so I will be learning along the
way and putting what I learn into a website/guide for others to do the same. 
 
 
Background: What background knowledge/connections/prior learning do you have in this
area of inquiry? 
 
I am very passionate and interested in business and crypto currency heavily connects to
business. I have done some trading on the stock market and crypto currency has been
interesting to me for a while.
 
 
 
Career connections: What is your intended career area at this point in time? What
connections does this inquiry question have to your life, academic and/ or career goals? 
 
My intended career area is business currently. This topic connects to me and my career goals
because I would like to be in the world of business and finance when I am older. Crypto
currency has a lot to do with finance and business.

Personal Awareness and Responsibility

Social Responsibility
I have positive peer and intergenerational relationships; I can ask my peers for help with
my capstone. Many of my friends have prior knowledge in crypto currency and I will be
able to ask them questions throughout my capstone.

Creative Thinking
I can persevere, and understand that failure can be productive, In the world of crypto
currency failure is inevitable. I know that starting out I may lose some money due to bad
decisions or mistakes. However, I am okay with this because I know I can learn from
those mistakes and use the information to succeed next time.

Critical Thinking
I can assess my progress; I am able to realize how much work I have done on my
capstone and asses how much I have learned throughout the journey of my capstone.

Communication
I can reflect on the processes of learning and share what I have learned, while doing my
capstone I will be learning along the way and sharing the information that I have learned
to create a guide for my capstone.

 I will be using a website to organize the information I learn, I am using a
website because it allows me to easily organize the information as well as
easily provide photos.
 
 
 
 
Description of my Capstone project. Specific Project Details of the Capstone Project: what
will you research, create, study, produce, solve, investigate? What product will be produced
at the end of this project for evaluation. Write a one-page description outlining your
proposal. 
 
I will be researching how to perform analysis in the crypto currency market, how to research
coins, what software and tools are needed, how to purchase crypto currencies, how to trade
crypto currencies, and how to be safe and smart on the market. I will be producing a guide on
how to do these things I will be learning and researching. It will be an easy to understand and
replicate guide that should be able to help anyone with zero knowledge on the topic. I will be
investigating my inquiry question to see if anyone is able to trade on this market with 0 prior
knowledge. I will be mostly using articles and YouTube videos to gather my information; this is
because there is not just one set way you can trade on this market. There is not one correct
answer and I will be looking for the way that works best for me and I believe will work best for
others like me. This guide will be typed on a website with images to further understanding. I will
be learning along the way and providing the information I learn; I will also make a part of my
website dedicated to the decisions I’ve made such as what currencies I invest in. This guide will
be done on a website where I post all the information and tools I am learning. I will have a page
for technical analysis, qualitative analysis, the tools needed, and a page for my personal
decisions. The end goal is to provide a website guide where people can browse around and
look for information regarding the topics I am providing with ease. Firstly, I will have to complete
all the research necessary for me to fully understand my topic. Next, I will need practice in the
market and learning as I go. Also, I will then have to share everything I learn on my website in
an organized manner with pictures to help further understanding. These are the steps I will be
taking to complete my capstone.
 
 
 
 
 
Resources/ Technology/Skills: Make an assessment of the resources, technology and
skills you will need to be able to complete this project. What is your plan to be able to
access/learn all of the resources necessary to achieve completion of this project? Detail
your plans.  
 
I will be using YouTube and trusted articles on my topic for research. I have access to a
computer at home. I will be using a program called Binance to learn how to invest and I will be
basing my research around Binance as of now. I will also be spending money in the market to
show how to purchase the coins as an example. I will probably be investing a couple hundred
dollars.
 
 
Mentors/Community Connections: What types of mentor(s)/community connections will
you need to help you complete your capstone project? How will your mentor(s) help
you? What is your plan to access the mentorship/community connections necessary for this
project? 
 
For a mentor, I would be needing someone with knowledge in the market that is willing to help
me. Personally, I don’t think I will be needing a mentor to complete my project. This is because I
would like to learn my own way of investing because in this area everyone has different ways of
finding success and I would like to find the way that allows me to have the greatest
understanding. 
 
 
 
Project limitations:  What are some project limitations and potential obstacles that you
foresee that might affect progress with your Capstone Project? 
 
Research, I know that since my topic is not easy to research academically, I will need to try and
find the best information from the most trusted sources possible. Researching and learning will
take me a very long time due to having no prior knowledge in the area of crypto currency.
