TERMINOLOGY
HARD DECK Separates deep space from underneath space. Horizontal line originating 7-9 yards from the LOS.

APEX Separates run space from outside space. Midpoint between EMLOS and 1ST eligible WR.

CENTER LINE

Defines the # of defenders to a side of a formation. Line runs through the center.

OUTSIDE Defines horizontal route space. Each WR creates immediately space threat for defense to defend.

BOX Defines run space area. Defense must align defenders in the box to account for each gap.

TUBES Defines vertical route space. Divided into 5 tubes that defense must defend.
