REACTION

-While reading the Article called “Score! Best practices for using music in audio storytelling” by Michael
May is that music can be used to call attention to underlying emotions and create a sense of time and
place which I really loved since I’m a daydreamer myself whenever I hear some music that is connected
to a story inside my head I would literally role play it. There’s kind of stories that should not do and
there is a story that are worthy. It is easy to understand the story more if the added music is connected
to that scene which make it more marvelous. Using musical metaphors to illustrate a particular moment,
using instrumental music, composing music is really great too because it can give an incredible amount
of control on how the music interacts with the story.

REFLECTION

-Music is marvelous. Music can make our stories more amazing and immersive which I find fascinating
when it comes to audio’s that I listened too and I get very much hook by it, with some added
instrumental music I can surely feel that I am one with the story, I’m part of the story and it makes more
interesting because I can imagine that place where that drama happened without them saying the exact
location of the drama.

REACTION

Watching the videos made me realize how much time and effort they need just to match the perfect
sound to a certain subject and some sound can be done by ourselves too or by using some tools inside
our house or can be. They need layering to truly capture the physical scope of the subject. Food can be
also used to make a sound (wow). Sounds can be made by lots of different materials depending on what
the subject is and what’s all about. Doing this seems fund but some might hurt since those ones in the
fight scenes can injured me knowing that I’m very clumsy myself I would literally get injured while doing
some sound effects.

REFLECTION

The sound made in a certain movie, audio or whatever that is, is really awesome and those foley artist I
respect them for how they did such an amazing job putting a lot of effort and just to match and create
the perfect sound for that subject. But seeing that I can already think that that is fun to do with group of
friends
