in Iran. Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex
(SJSCO) has assigned to Middle East
Industry Standard Engineering
Company (MEMSECO) the feasibility
study of establishing Steel Making
plant which has been located near
Sirjan city in Kerman province. Final
investigation indicates that this
project is feasible in technical and
economical points of view.
Kerman is the biggest
Province in Iran that
has the most Iron Ore
Mines and Expansion
Of Metal Planes.

Pelletizing In Iran
Pellet quality :
In General , Since The Major deposite of Iron Ore in Gole Gohar
area has high Sulfur content, so we must decrease sulfur content to
increase quality of (D.R. Pellet). To achieve to this point we have
introduced flotation system and HPGR to increase total quality of
concentrate and pellet. Expected iron content of pellet is up to
67.5%.
Iran’s Future Pelletizing
•Generally the Bright future about Pelletizing in Iran
especially with Energy and Row Materials is Predicted .
•In 2025 (1404) Iran Pelletizing capacity must be about
55,100,000 (Ton/Year)
Sanction
• Iran steel exports surge to 1.26 mln T from Jan-July 2014
• Steel exports help counter oil sales lost due to sanctions
• Plans to produce 55 mln T by 2025, with 10 mln T exported
• Iran produced 10.64 million tonnes of crude steel in the first eight months of this year,
up 6.9 percent on the same period last year and nearly triple the 2.4 percent average
global growth rate, data from the World Steel Association shows
