An endeavor over a long period can be successful only with the advice
and support of Many well wishes. We take this opportunity to express our
gratitude and appreciation of all of them.

Sri Padmavathi Educational Institutions, for providing all the facilities of our

Abstract
The main objective of HOSTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is to maintain
the information of students joined in the hostel. This includes the Course
Details, Student Details, Department Details, Room Details, and Stationary
Details etc.

The main purpose of the system is to computerize the hostel details of


every student. Using this system the various list of students can be
created and the rooms could be maintained and allocated for students in
the hostel. By this, Time consumption will be reduced and to provide
security and user friendly interfaces to the users of this system and to avail
details.

Modules:

 Administrator

 Hostel User

Each module would have sub-modules and is linked with database.

Hostel Management System is easy to use, yet powerful system


which maintains all the details of students joined in the hostel. It will
minimize the utilization of manpower to great extent.

This Project is developed using ASP.NET with C#, Microsoft Visual Studio
2008 as front end and SQL Server 2005 as back end. This project
guarantees that it provides genuine information to the users for a long
period.
