Cl80 Inrow Cooler: Data Sheet

The CL80 InRow Cooler is an in-row cooling unit that fits alongside server cabinets to efficiently remove heat from active equipment while preventing hot exhaust air from entering non-permitted spaces. Ambient air is pulled into the cabinet by equipment fans and passes over a heat exchanger matrix where the heat is transferred to coolant before chilled air is returned to the room at a predetermined temperature. The InRow coolers can be added to an existing data center to provide additional cooling capacity and reduce energy consumption by removing hot spots.

Data Sheet

CL80 InRow Cooler

ColdLogik CL80 InRow Coolers are fitted alongside cabinets in
containment, typically being IEC 297 3 and EIA STD 310 compliant. The
coolers ensure efficient thermal and energy performance by removing
the heat generated by the active equipment , preventing hot exhaust
air entering space where it is not permitted.

Ambient air is pulled into the cabinet by the active equipment fans –
the hot air produced by the equipment passes over a heat exchanger
matrix, either by its own velocity or being pulled through via EC
centrifugal fans mounted in the CL80. The heat is rejected to coolant
and chilled air is passed back into the room at a predetermined
ambient temperature.

The InRow coolers can be sited within an existing data centre to work
with existing computer room air-conditioning to provide additional
cooling. They also reduce energy consumption and remove hot spots.
