Hair Colour

Age – 15-25

1. Have you used hair colour? YES

a. When? A couple of times. Once in my early college days, second time for my
brother’s wedding n third time (colored ‘em black) to get the original hair color back.

b. What was the occasion?

c. Why not?

2. What is your hair care regime? I oil my hair twice a week n shampoo after oiling only.

3. Which brand of hair colour did you use? Garnier or Wella

4. Did you go to the parlour or did you do it yourself? Twice did it my self n once went to parlor

5. Why did you use this particular brand? (saw ad on tv/friends recommended – probe if the answer
doesn’t come up instantly)

Saw TV ads and was suggested by my mother (who is a beautician)

6. What are the problems with using hair colour? I faced no prob as such except that hair feels little dry
after coloring

a. Which is the biggest problem?

7. How often do you think people should use hair colour?

Once or twice in 6 months

8. If there was a new hair colour brand that’s coming to the market – what benefit would you want it to
give you?

I would want d color to stay long n hair to not get so dry

9. Why?

Cuz hair adds to beauty n spoiling hair is like a turn off.

10. If a brand says ‘Quick work’ , then do you think it will damage your hair?

I mite not trust such a brand cuz quick wud mean more amount of chemicals n dats harmful to hair

11. What is your mood after you’ve used hair colour?

Feels like a make over, feels nice.

12. There is a girl with a nice burgundy hair colour and there is a girl with plain hair. Can you describe
their characters? What do they do? What are their values and beliefs? What would their dreams be? Etc.

Hair does not help describe a person’s image or character sketch. Black haired gal mite have pretty long
hair n look beautiful while colored hair gal mite ve short, curly n unmanageable hair which gives her a
dirty look or vice versa is also possible. I wud not sketch a person on basis of her hair.

13. What is the cool new thing going on on the internet today?

No idea

14. Who is your role model? And why? (could be someone from their everyday life)

My sister. Cuz she handles her life,balances her time, manages her kids all alone by herslf n also
maintains her family n relatives n professional life with no complains.

15. When you and your friends are sitting around, what is the buzziest topic of conversation?

With us friends d topic of discussion wud always be smthng with current happenings around us
or cricket, shopping or relationships. It definitely is not hair.

16. If you had to assign a celebrity to the following brands, who would it be and why? Other than the
existing ones..

a. L’oreal – Diana hayden – cuz she looks perfect

b. Wella – madhuri dixit


c. Garnier – dimple kapadia – I just love her hair. She looks international standards as

17. Your best friend is going to use hair colour for the first time. What are you going to tell her?

I ll ask her not to do hair color only if she’s doing it for fashion. But if she is using it for some occasion I
wud ask her to do it jst once n dat too in little quantity
