Lesson 1-Living the Faith : Christian Morality

A. Lights and Shadows

Direction: Answer the following questions. Submit your answer through google classroom not
later than Sunday 11:59 midnight.

1. What does the story say about following Christ?

2. What may it imply about the limitation of factual knowledge (kaalaman) about
Jesus?
For example, suppose you knew that He preached 256 sermons, would that deepen
your faith in Him?

3. How does the story shed light on the difference between the Filipino words alam
(knowing someone ) and kilala (knowing someone personally) in relation to our faith in
Jesus Christ? In what sense should we, as Christ’s disciples, know Him in both
senses----alam and kilala.
