 Advanced CAD/CAM Software for Design and Simulation, Rich

experience of 2 decades of having handled a wide variety of
Components, latest CNC Machining Techniques and ample
amount of common sense are some of the important
ingredients that going into our Design and Manufacture of the
Tooling.

 The outcome are Tools that ensures Maximum Productivity,

Minimum Rejects, Minimum Secondary Operations, Extended
Tool Life and Ease of Maintenance through out the life of the
Tool.

 A well established and documented Tooling Maintenance

Procedure ensures that the Tools stay as good as new, shot
after shot.

 A Comprehensive Tooling Replacement plan reviewed every

quarter ensures that Tools are replaced well in advance,
avoiding serious Production and Quality related issues.

 A Total of 22 nos. of a wide range of Die Casting machines (14

in Tumkur Unit 1 and 8 in Ranipet Unit 2 gives Chamundi
very good flexibility in being capable to manufacture a
comprehensive assortment of parts.
 The collection of machines available as of now is given below.

 Capacity to produce castings in the weight range of

aprox. 20 grams to 6.0 kilograms.
 Installed Capacity is aprox. 8,000 Tons of Castings per
annum (4,000 Tons @ Unit1 & 4,000 Tons @ Unit 2)
 Present production is around aprox. 5,500 Tons per
annum (Aprox. 3,000 Tons @ Unit 1 & 2,500 Tons @ Unit 2)

 In house CNC Machining facility give Chamundi

the advantage of being a “One-Stop-Shop” for
Customers.

 The CNC Machining section is equipped with a

battery of 87 CNC machines, consisting of a
wide variety of machines including VMC’s /
Turning Centers / TMC’s / Twin Spindle - Turning
Centers & VMC’s) , enabling Chamundi to supply
fully Finished Machined Components to
customers.
