Supply: Ful-Wave Reciier

The full-wave rectifier consists of a center-tapped transformer, two diodes (D1 and D2), and a load resistance (RL). During one half cycle, D1 conducts and current flows through RL from point A to point B. During the other half cycle, D2 conducts and current flows through RL from point B to point A. This provides a rectified output with both half cycles using both diodes. The average and RMS load current values can be calculated based on the input peak voltage and frequency along with the load resistance. The DC output voltage is related to the peak input voltage and load resistance.
