ENVIRONMENT VIOLATION: THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUMANS AND NATURE
Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION
Background of the Study
Humans have been living with ease and advanced technology due to the support given by
nature, resources and materials produced by nature are reasons why the majority can eat delicious
foods, buy luxurious things, experience living in a cozy home and create medicines for diseases as well
as for the COVID-19 virus. Nature can also provide health benefits wherein oxygen is necessary in order
to be alive. The environment may be improving due to nature yet it is still being treated unfairly.
Humans may be part of nature but the majority still do not understand and recognize the
relationship between humans and nature, neither in the business life. Nature has been harmed by
humans, and the natural resources derived from it are not really appreciated and taken for granted
thinking nature is always there to provide the needs of the society, however it is important to take note
that people cannot survive without nature, but nature can live without them, hence nature can
reproduce on its own. (Löbler, 2017)
Research results show that humans have been also trying to disconnect their lives from nature,
people have been forgetting that nature always give us the necessities we demand as it slowly vanishes.
Many have been distancing theirselves from nature as industry and technology are improving, however,
this does not change the fact that most humans are still relying on nature to live. All the things that are
consume and use are still the result of natural interactions, and these interactions are in jeopardy.
(Hance, 2011)
Examples of resources that nature continues to give us include fresh water, without water, the
world will be living in serious heat and will cause the fishes to die which serve as human food yet due to
throwing of wastes, the purity of the fresh water is threatened as well as the marine life. Soil erosion has
also become a common issue mainly because of overusing and degradation for agricultural uses such as
constructions, without soil, farmers cannot produce plants which can be essential to make medicines for
curing diseases. Results also explain that nature can relieve stress. (Hance, 2011)
This study is being conducted by the researcher in order to identify and understand the
relationship between humans and nature on why humans still tend to take advantage of nature,
continue on activities that greatly impacts the environment and to find ways on how to educate humans
regarding their treatment with nature by creating an organization which will let them engage in human-
nature activities and understand the importance of nature and consequences of environment violation.
